The Company Ferraioli & C. SRL is on the market since 1973.
At the moment we have 36 employees and our main production is destined to the following sectors:
Rail: Production of mechanical components for switch machines (P.80, L.90, MET) and relative accessories (electro-magnet, point indicator, electro-magnet point detector, etc.) Safety components and units for High Speed. Safety spare parts for engine of locos, breaks, trucks and pantographs. We supply this production to the Italian State Railways and to the main European producers of rolling stock.
Robotics: Production of components and groups of ??A?? level designed to a main German producer of welding robots; for producers of Production Systems we produce pallets according to customer drawings ( Powertrain Machining and Assembly).
Transmissions and food sector: components for first equipment and groups in stain-less steel for main European producers.
Usually worked materials: cast iron, steel, stain-less steel, aluminium, bronze, brass, copper and plastics.
Ferraioli & C. SRL does mechanical machining for third parties. We are available to examine different kind of co-operations with other industry sectors.
Industrial Research: There is among our strategic targets a very interesting co-operation with institutions and research institutes. We are involved in some applied research programmes. Our current partners are ENEA (Ente per le Nuove Tecnologie, l??Energia e l??Ambiente) and some Universities.
We propose ourselves for:
1.Complex mechanical machining on palletized machining centres (horizontal and vertical) and on lathes;
2.Mass production for first equipment parts, for spare parts and supply of groups and subgroups;
3.Production of electro-mechanical devices which are assembled, calibrated and certified;
4.Complete production of following processes (ext. carried out): Surface finishing processes, thermal treatments, galvanic treatments, coatings and paintings.
